Isabel Mercedes Cumming has been fighting fraud for over 25 years. Beginning her legal career at the US Attorney’s Office, Ms. Cumming has previously held roles combatting fraud in Prince George’s and Baltimore County, in the Maryland State Prosecutor’s Office, and with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority among others. With both an MBA and JD (law) from the University of Baltimore, Ms. Cumming became in 2018 the first woman to serve as Inspector General for Baltimore City. Join us for our final Leading Now Conversation until Fall and hear this dynamic speaker discuss her experience leading an office of city government dedicated to public integrity.
