Marin Alsop will be featured in our next Origin Stories event on March 10. The BSO Music Director follows Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison and Exelon Senior Executive Vice President Calvin G Butler Jr. as featured Origin Stories guests. During this series, Leadership Alumni gather in an intimate setting to hear The Leadership’s Executive Director, David Sachs, talk with guests about their personal leadership journeys. From early mentors to crucible moments, Origin Stories guests have shared personal experiences rich with insight. Kevin Lindamood, (Leadership Class of 2011) commented, “This was a great format with good questioning. It gave us a chance to learn a little about Commissioner Harrison personally, and many of his “leadership lessons” have stuck with me.
The Leadership looks forward to building on the success of the initial Origin Stories events to continue to offer programming focused on helping participants become more effective civic leaders in the Baltimore region.
