The Leadership’s 37th Class began their journey together on January 29 and 30 at the BGE Smart Energy Hall. An amazingly talented and diverse group of 64 individuals comprise the Class of 2020. (Click here to see who they are!) They will immerse in a 9-month learning experience to become more effective civic leaders of the Baltimore region. By understanding more deeply Baltimore challenges and opportunities, history, and people, by developing stronger relationships, especially across differences, and be strengthening important civic leadership competencies, the Class of 2020 will undergo an intensive growth experience.
“I am excited to welcome the Class of 2020 to The Leadership,” said Laura Boydston, Chair of the Board. “This class is immensely talented and purpose-driven. I look forward to supporting their journey and ultimately, to welcoming them as fellow alumni.”
Future program experiences will include sessions at the State House in Annapolis, the National Federation of the Blind and the Maryland Historical Society.
